You'll never guess what I did today.
See? You didn't get it right. Fine, I'll tell. I took a pregnancy test. AND FAILED. It was funny though, because I decided to buy the test on my way home from work since there was a chance that I could be preggo, and I decided that things weren't happening that should be if I weren't preggo, and why not?? Walking into CVS I thought "Oh, wouldn't it be ironic if I ran into someone I knew here, buying a pregnancy test! Oh, I don't want the whole world to know that maybe it is possible that I might be WITH CHILD!"
So of course I see a friendly neighbor dude that we invited over for dinner this coming friday, and I got to do the classic sitcom make-friendly-chitchat-with-hands-casually-behind-your-back-hiding-the-incriminating-EPT-box" What FUN! Really, I did get a chuckle out of it. But now I understand why people buy these things in bulk on the internet. That same encounter wouldn't be nearly so funny six months from now.
There have been other, major developments at Chez Fay but I can't show you because I want it to be a surprise for my sister (that is if my husband didn't already tell her what we did this weekend).
So if you're in town on Friday, stop by! Make friendly chitchat! The good news is, I will be able to enjoy your company with the added bonus of BEER. Because in case you hadn't heard, I am NOT PREGNANT. It's official.
